Cass County Michigan solves multiple B&E's

Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports his office has successfully solved numerous burglaries and recovered a large quantity of stolen property. Investigation by Cass County Sheriff deputies took them to an address on Brownsville Rd in Calvin Twp, Cass County. A search warrant was obtained for the residence. Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office and Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted the search warrant on January 16, 2019. During the search warrant it was discovered that the residence was full of stolen property from numerous burglaries and larcenies from Southwest Michigan and Elkhart County, Indiana. Also recovered in the search warrant were drugs including methamphetamine. It took 2 and half days for deputies to process the stolen property from the residence.
Two suspects have been arrested on charges of Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, and Criminal Enterprise. Sunny Fogg, 32 yrs of Brownsville St. Cassopolis is being held on charges with $70,000 bond and Amber Biggs, 35 yrs of Brownsville St, Cassopolis is being held on charges at $60,000 bond.
While these suspects have been captured there are still burglaries occurring since their arrest so we ask citizens be vigilant and make sure their homes and vehicles are secure.
