DETAILS: On this date at 6:52 am, a Hit & Run Motor Vehicle Crash occurred on Clarksville Road in front of the WWPHS South High School. As of the time of this release, the following has been determined: a 62 year old pedestrian was crossing Clarksville Road in a westerly direction from the area of WWPHS South High School. A vehicle, believed to be a Titanium Gray 2014-2018 Kia Soul, was traveling Southbound on Clarksville Road and struck the pedestrian. Afterward, a passing motorist found the pedestrian lying in the gutter. The Kia’s passenger side mirror was torn off from the impact. The Kia subsequently fled the scene. It was dark and raining at the time of the collision.
WW Emergency Services and MICU responded to the scene. WW Emergency Services transported the victim to Capital Health Regional Medical Center (Fuld Trauma). The victim sustained Non-Life Threatening injuries to his ankle and head (including lacerations).
