Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00AM Wednesday

A narrow band of moderate snow continues over portions of southeast Minnesota into western Wisconsin. Within this band, the visibility will drop to a half mile or less and a quick inch of snow will occur. This band will move to the east and should weaken over the last half of the afternoon. The focus for any heavier snow will then shift to the south across portions of northeast Iowa into southwest Wisconsin for tonight. Accumulations in the winter storm warning are still expected to be in the 4 to 6 inch range with amounts of 2 to 4 inches in the advisory. Roads across the area are partially to completely snow and ice covered creating difficult driving conditions. With snow expected into this evening, anticipate the winter driving conditions to continue. The evening commute will likely be impacted and be slower than normal.

* WHAT...Snow. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches.

* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Monroe, Juneau, Adams and Vernon Counties. In Iowa, Allamakee County.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
