The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory, which is in effect until 1:00 PM tomorrow. Very cold wind chills are expected, with wind chills as low as 15 below zero expected. Due to the current forecast please observe the following precautions:

• Hazardous travel is expected due to icy roads, caused by falling temperatures. It is important that everyone do their best to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency.
• The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

As always, treat all downed utility wires as if they are live and stay away from them. Report fallen wires or trees to North Castle PD at 914-273-9500. Report power outages to Con Edison at 1-800-752-6633 (1-800-75-CONED), or visit their website at www.coned.com. The Town Code prohibits overnight parking on roadways (1:00 am to 6:00 AM) from November 15th through April 1st. Keeping cars off the roads during these times allows the Highway crews to clear snow and ice more efficiently.
