Dearborn declares Snow Emergency as of 9pm Sat Jan 19 2019

DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn has declared a snow emergency to be effective at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019.
 
            As of 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, all parked vehicles must be removed from Dearborn streets to allow for safe and efficient snowplowing.  Parked vehicles will be ticketed. Tickets are $80.
 
            Outdoor sirens will sound at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 announcing the snow emergency. They will sound again at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20 as snow plowing continues. 
 
            Visit www.cityofdearborn.org for a map of Dearborn side streets that can be used for temporary parking during a snow emergency, and to view the complete rules for snow emergencies and for sidewalk snow removal
