Storm total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches expected, with locally higher amounts possible. Some freezing rain possible through this afternoon with ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch possible. Northeast winds may gust as high as 35 to 40 mph later this afternoon into tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will likely become difficult. Strong winds will result in blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibilities. Visibilities may approach zero at times this evening due to the combination of snow and very strong winds.
