The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning. The Winter Storm Warning is in effect from noon today through 6:00 PM tomorrow, and is calling for heavy mixed precipitation of snow and ice. The current forecast is as follows:

• Snow accumulations of 6-10 inches
• Gusty winds, snow, and ice accumulations may bring down tree limbs and power lines
• Hazardous travel is expected with roads becoming snow and ice covered.

As always, treat all downed utility wires as if they are live and stay away from them. Report fallen wires or trees to North Castle PD at 914-273-9500. Report power outages to Con Edison at 1-800-752-6633 (1-800-75-CONED). Due to the anticipated hazardous roadway conditions, it is important that everyone do their best to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency.

The Town Code prohibits overnight parking on roadways (1:00 AM to 6:00 AM) from November 15th through April 1st. Keeping cars off the roads during the entire duration of the storm allows the Highway crews to clear snow and ice more efficiently.
