A boil water advisory was issued for approximately 170 residences, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant (Hamlet of Valhalla), served by Kensico Water District due to the repair of a water main break. The repair was completed last night and Kensico Water District will collect water samples for testing from the repaired water main on Thursday and Friday and the samples will be analyzed for bacteriological contaminants. The advisory will be in effect at least until Sunday January 20, 2019.
The boil water advisory was hand delivered to the affected residences by the Town of Mt. Pleasant personnel.
