The City of Covina is looking for volunteers to participate in the Los Angeles County Homeless Count which will take place in Covina on the night of Tuesday, January 22, 2019, starting at 7:30 pm.  Volunteers must be 18 and over.  Sign up on-line at www.theycountwillyou.org.  If signing-up on-line, please choose Covina Cougar Park as your deployment site.

For more information, or to sign up by phone, please call the Covina Housing Division at 626-384-5442.  Sign-ups can also be completed by e-mail to [email protected].  Counting is completed from a respectful distance.  Training will be provided the night of the count.

The count helps officials determine the number of homeless individuals living in communities across the county on any given night.  Data collected during the count is used to determine where to provide programs and services for those experiencing homelessness across the region.
