Snow Tonight, 1-2", Sat into Sun, Snow, Sleet, Rain, Be Prepared for single digits Monday & all frozen roads.
The weather will be very complicated this weekend. So, lets work with Tonight, 1/17/2019 to 1/18/2019. Overnight, we will see snow starting in the Philly area around 7pm and we should get 1 to 2 inches by morning. The Olaf index will be a 7 with snow perfect for snowman making. If you make a snowman, please give it a healthy breakfast in the AM, they prefer Frosted Flakes!
Fridays commuters should use caution for ice conditions. Saturday into Sunday will be a mess of Snow, Ice and Rain. Elsa index is a 7 due to the unstable area. My biggest concern is the wet conditions going into Monday morning. The temperature will drop into the single digits and everything on the road will freeze solid. I am recommending extreme caution if you have to travel Monday morning!!!! Better yet, if you don't have to go out, please stay in. I already purchased my peanut butter & fluff. (Use a spoon).
I will update this report with a new one Saturday night if the storm has a more powerful impact to our area.
Stay Safe & Warm

Some additional info:
Please make sure all pets are in doors. They can't survive in this weather and should be inside anyway. Call Police HQ if you see animals sheltering outside. Please do not call 911 for power outages but call your local utility.
Please do not call and ask about snow removal. Every available truck will be out salting and plowing and must prioritize emergency situations. Our public works team is second to none and will be working non-stop. Please be patient and make sure all cars are off the road to expedite snow removal. Help your neighbors and let them use extra space if you have it and they need it for parking.
If power goes out keep the frig closed as long as possible and have your generator far from the house or cracked open windows where cables come in.
Please make sure all pets are in doors. They can't survive in this weather and should be inside anyway. Call Police HQ if you see animals sheltering outside.

If your fuse or breakers are in a flooded area, do not go near them until the water recedes or is removed.
Stay Connected
General information on outage activity is available online at www.pseg.com/outagecenter and on Twitter and Facebook. Social media should not be used to report outages or emergencies.
With PSE&G’s MyAccount, you can report problems and track progress online, and with MyAlerts, you can receive updates about your service via email and text message. You can request that multiple email addresses or phone numbers get messages about an account, and you can add multiple PSE&G accounts to a single mobile phone number.

Gas Stove Burner Safety
Carbon Monoxide
Any gas appliance can be a source of carbon monoxide, a dangerous gas that deprives the body of oxygen, resulting in serious injury or death. Don't use a gas stove as a source of heat, as this increases the likelihood of carbon monoxide poisoning. Make sure the stove is vented to the outside and the vent it not blocked. Install a carbon monoxide detector in homes where gas appliances, including gas stoves, are being used.
