The City of St. Peters will close or alter the following services due to winter weather:

• The St. Peters Rec-Plex will close at 5:30 p.m. today, Jan. 11, 2019.
• The Rec-Plex and DTC will open late at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12. Rec-Plex aquatics will open at noon. All fitness programs and swim lessons are cancelled for Saturday, Jan. 12.
• Recycle City trash disposal is unavailable on Saturday, Jan. 12.
• Earth Centre yard waste acceptance is unavailable on Saturday, Jan. 12
• St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre is closed on Saturday, Jan. 12.

City of St. Peters snow and ice removal crews are responding to the storm and will continue to work on clearing roads as needed.

The City of St. Peters urges residents to do three things to aid with snow and ice removal operations:

1) Park your car on the driveway.
2) Move trash carts to your driveway.
3) Avoid unnecessary travel.

By limiting cars and trucks on the road and removing obstructions such as trash carts from the street, ice and snow removal crews can work more effectively and safely to treat and clear our roads.
