Dense Fog Advisory until 08:00AM Friday

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM PST Friday.

* VISIBILITY...Widespread fog with patchy visibilities below one-quarter mile becoming more widespread overnight. Visibilities improving over the southern Sacramento Valley early Friday morning as southeast winds increase. Dense fog may spread northward into the northern Sacramento Valley Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous driving conditions due to low visibilities.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MOTHERLODE ... CENTRAL SACRAMENTO VALLEY ... SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY ... NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... CARQUINEZ STRAIT AND DELTA

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
