On January 7th, the Culver City Police Department received a radio call to check the welfare of a possible suicidal subject in the 3900 block of Sepulveda Blvd.  
 
Once on scene, officers attempted to make contact with the subject. At that time the subject fired multiple gun shots through his hotel room door at the officers.  No officers or civilians were struck by gunfire and the officers did not return fire.
 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Special Enforcement Bureau responded to the scene and eventually took the suspect (Stephen Chauncey Robb 39yrs) into custody.
 
Stephen Robb was later booked at the Culver City Police Department for P.C 664/187 (attempted murder of a police officer)
