Clear skies, light winds and abundant surface moisture from recent rains will result in patchy dense fog across the advisory area. The fog will lift by late morning as daytime heating begins and surface winds increase. The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CST this morning.

* VISIBILITY...Widespread below 1 mile with patchy spots of 1/4 mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Dense fog will result in hazardous traveling conditions.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EVANGELINE ... UPPER ST. MARTIN ... ST. MARY ... ACADIA ... LOWER ST. MARTIN ... RAPIDES ... AVOYELLES ... IBERIA ... VERMILION ... VERNON ... LAFAYETTE ... ST. LANDRY
