3 Suspects Charged With Murder After A Botched Robbery Captured Today By SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Elite Fugitive Squad
The Elite Fugitive Squad took two men into custody for charges of murder during the commission of a felony after a botched armed robbery attempt. This occurred after Clayton County Police Homicide Detectives successfully broke the case that occurred December 28, 2018 on Autumn Drive.
On that date, a juvenile and 3 adults identified as Adrian Hernandez, Guillermo Rojas, and Rhattak Soy attempted to rob a drug dealer at gunpoint. Cortez shot at the drug dealer and the drug dealer returned fire killing Soy and striking Rojas. Because the felonious actions of those involved in this robbery attempt resulted in the death of their co-conspirator (Rhattak Soy) the juvenile, Hernandez, and Rojas have all been charged with murder during the commission of a felony in addition to attempted armed robbery.
The juvenile is now being held at the Martha Glaze Juvenile Dentention Center. However, both Hernandez and Cortez are both now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail now better known as the “Hill-ton”.
