Dense Fog Advisory until 08:00AM Thursday

With very moist air in place, fog has been redeveloping over the last couple hours and visibility has already dropped below one mile in some places. Expect fog to become more dense as the evening progresses, causing visibility to drop to one quarter mile or less in spots. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CST Thursday.

* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less at times

* DURATION...Through 8am CST Thursday

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could result in hazardous conditions along area roadways.
