Dense Fog Advisory until 09:00AM Tuesday

A cold front is slowly movingt over the region and will stall across the coastal waters. Winds will drop down to near calm and with abundant moisture and generally cool conditions fog will develop across locations close to the water. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Tuesday.

* VISIBILITY...down to a quarter of a mile or less.

* DURATION...6 to 10 hours

* AFFECTED AREAS: LOWER PLAQUEMINES ... HARRISON ... UPPER JEFFERSON ... ST. CHARLES ... JACKSON ... UPPER PLAQUEMINES ... ST. TAMMANY ... UPPER ST. BERNARD ... LOWER ST. BERNARD ... ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST ... ORLEANS ... LIVINGSTON ... HANCOCK ... LOWER JEFFERSON ... SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA
