A New Years Eve message from Chief Sylvester:
As 2018 comes to a close, I would like to thank the citizens of Sachse for the support our police department receives throughout the year. Our community remains a safe place to live and raise a family because we all work together. We have solved several crimes this year simply because a citizen saw something and reported it. Our citizen volunteers provide an invaluable service, improving our efficiency and providing additional, visible deterrence to crime and our community outreach and crime prevention programming continues to thrive due to citizen involvement. I look forward to all that we can achieve together in 2019.
