Shots Fired Incident on Janesville’s South Side 
On December 30, 2018 at about 1:30 a.m. the Rock County 911 Center received multiple calls of shots being fired in the area at Beloit Avenue and Delavan Drive. Responding Janesville police officers found no one around and no disturbances. From the information received, the shots appeared to have been fired in the 1000 block of Beloit Avenue and several shell casings were found in the street. An unoccupied residence in that same block was struck by the gunfire. At this time no injuries have been reported and there is no clear target or motive for the shooting.
