The Monroe Police Department along with the Traffic Education and Monitoring Program (TEAM) are sponsoring a New Year's Safe Ride Program. This program will be available tonight from 9:00 pm until 3:00 am. If you have been drinking, please call (360) 794-6300 for a safe ride home.
When you call, all you need to do is give your NAME, the ADDRESS from where you are calling from and the ADDRESS to where you want to go. You MUST be calling from a place in the City of Monroe and your destination must be within 5 miles of the city limits. If you are not sure, please call and inquire.
The Safe Ride Program is a public service to you and the community. Have a Happy and Safe New Year's Eve!
