OFD Annual Knox Box Maintenance 
To all property owners, both business and residential, who have a Knox lock box on their property located in the City and Town of Oneonta:
The Oneonta Fire Deparment will be visiting properties in the City and Town of Oneonta which have Knox lock boxes. These visits will start in January and are to do preventative maintenance on the lock box. We will be opening the boxes and lubricating the lock and internal mechanism.
Visiting firefighters will be in uniform and carrying proper identification.
If you have changed any locks in or on your building, we can put the new keys in the box for you. If you need to change any emergency contact information that is in the box, we can put that in for you as well.
If you are not onsite and new keys need to be added or you need to make changes to contact information in the lock box, please call the Oneonta Fire Department at 607-433-3480, ext 0. Your information will be taken and a visit will be scheduled to make necessary changes.
