Monroe Township Police have been taking reports for several unlocked vehicle burglaries over the last two days in the northern section of the township. The Police Department is reminding residents to lock all parked vehicles and to not leave any valuables in them.

Additionally, the Police have been taking reports for a few residential burglaries in developments near Buckelew Avenue (Rt. 522) over the last week. The Police recommend locking all doors and windows to homes and activating burglar alarms which are suggested to be monitored. Also, packages delivered to homes should not be left unattended for extended periods of time.
