Coastal Flood Advisory until 02:00PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 9 AM Friday to 2 PM PST Saturday.

* FRIDAY TIDES...Total tide is expected to reach 10.3 feet around the time of the 11:06 AM high tide at Garibaldi.

* SATURDAY TIDES...Total tide is expected to reach 10.5 ft around the time of the 11:51 AM high tide at Garibaldi.

* IMPACTS...Overflow flooding is most likely to occur in low- lying areas near bays and sloughs and in the lower reaches of coastal rivers. In Tillamook County, overflow flooding is likely on Fraser Road.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTH OREGON COAST

Residents in the advisory area should be alert for rising water and take appropriate action to protect life and property.
