The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a
* Flood Watch for portions of northeast West Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, in northeast West Virginia, Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, and Southeast Webster. In southeast West Virginia, Southeast Fayette, Southeast Nicholas, and Southeast Raleigh.
* Through Friday afternoon
* Storm system will move across the area tonight and Friday. This storm could produce between 1.50 to 3.00 inches of rain over the area. This could cause flooding of small streams and creeks.
* Poor drainage and low lying areas along streams and creeks will be most susceptible to flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHEAST RALEIGH ... SOUTHEAST NICHOLAS ... NORTHWEST POCAHONTAS ... SOUTHEAST WEBSTER ... SOUTHEAST POCAHONTAS ... SOUTHEAST RANDOLPH ... SOUTHEAST FAYETTE
