The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 11 AM CST this morning.
* Visibilities...As low as a quarter to a half a mile.
* Timing...Through late morning.
* Impacts...Sudden reductions in visibility will make travel slower and potentially more difficult where fog is the most dense.
* AFFECTED AREAS: BUTLER ... MONTGOMERY ... HARVEY ... CHAUTAUQUA ... ALLEN ... COWLEY ... GREENWOOD ... WOODSON ... ELK ... WILSON ... NEOSHO ... SUMNER ... SEDGWICK ... HARPER ... LABETTE

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down. Use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
