Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 12/17/2018 at 1221 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash in Volinia Township, Cass County Michigian. A 16 yr old female, was travelling westbound on Church St near Goff Lake when she lost control of her vehicle, running off the road, striking several trees and overturning. She was transported by ambulance to Bronson Hospital for treatment. Seat belts were not used and intoxicants do not appear to have been a factor. This case remains under investigation.
