Ocean Beach High Surf Warning 
The National Weather Service has issued a high surf warning impacting Ocean Beach Today-Monday, December 16-17, 2018. The public is urged to avoid Ocean Beach during the warning, which could result in sudden high and very dangerous waves that could reach all the way to the sea wall. This means anyone walking on the beach could be put in chest deep water with little or no warning. It is important that all residents and visitors heed this high surf warning and stay off of the sand at Ocean Beach Sunday through Monday. Visit www.sf72.org for weather safety information.
