Subject: Suspect Arrested for Engaging in Repeated Acts of Child Sexual Assault
On Dec. 13th, 2018, Steven C. Faust, age 49 of Sun Prairie, was taken into custody on charges of Engaging in Repeated Acts of Child Sexual Assault of the Same Child.
Over the past several weeks, the Sun Prairie Police Department had been investigating Faust over reports of multiple acts of sexual assault to a child, which took place between the years of 2010 and 2015. The investigation also uncovered that Faust has been communicating, through social media, with multiple juvenile females. Faust was volunteering as a Girl Scout Troop Leader during these incidents.
