POLICE INVESTIGATING FATAL ACCIDENT - Thursday Night - Cal CIty Blvd - PRESS RELEASE 
California City - California City Police are continuing to investigate a collision that occured Thursday afternoon that killed a Cal City woman. Officers responded to a call of a vehicle vs. pedestrian on California City Blvd at Wonder Ave in California City.
TIME OF CALL: 5:50 PM
VICTIM: Lydia Torres (52 years-old) of Cal City
Emergency crews responded to the scene and Torres was pronounced deceased.
At this time, it appears that Torres was crossing Cal City Blvd and was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Cal City Blvd.
No drugs or alcohol impairment is suspected.
