The Shorewood Police Department is looking for the individual in the attached photo and also asking residents to be aware. This suspect has scammed several residents out of money and other items. He has been going door to door soliciting funds for "Victory Church," and uses the name "Detrell". Funds that have been obtained are used for personal items. He is not associated with any church.
Some residents have invited this suspect into their homes where he has distracted the residents and stole credit cards which he uses for personal items. On some occasions, he has been accompanied by a young child.
Multiple agencies are looking for this individual as he has committed similar offenses in other communities and is now a suspect in a strong-arm robbery.
If you see this individual, DO NOT allow him into your home or donate anything to him and call police immediately.
