On Monday, December 10 2018 at approximately 12:47 am, officers of the Green Bay Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1800 blk of Western Ave for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a 23 year old male with multiple gunshot wounds. Green Bay Fire Rescue transported the male to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition. Since that time, the male has been in surgery as a result of those wounds, and he was recently released from surgery, but continues to receive medical care.

Since that time, Green Bay Police officers, detectives, and forensic specialists have been investigating this incident, gathering evidence, interviewing victims and witnesses, and canvassing the area. At this time, we have a person of interest in custody related to these shootings that we believe to be the shooter. He is a 25 year old male. We are not releasing the identity of the male at this time as we are still actively involved in investigating the incident and do not wish to compromise that investigation. There is no reason to believe the public is in any further danger as a result of this incident.

As this is an active ongoing investigation no additional information can be released at this time.
