Advisory

Winter Weather Update. SHERIFF VICTOR HILL

Heavy rain has moved out of the area, but an additional 1/2 to 1 inch is possible through tonight and into tomorrow morning. Due to the rain amounts in the county, several small streams are approaching or above flood stage; additionally, the flint is out of its banks in several areas of the county with no impact to structures as of now. Minor flooding is expected to continue through at least mid-day Monday. Winds are subsiding but gusts up to 30 mph are possible this morning, which could cause rain-weakened tress to fall.

There is a potential for the county to see some brief snow showers during the early morning hours on Monday.  However, with temperatures forecasted to be above freezing, there is no accumulation expected nor should there be any travel impacts.

The Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the system and will provide an additional update to the county later this afternoon/early evening and again in the morning.
