Deputies arrest Alfredo Carranco of Rialto for numerous sex crimes against a child 
DATE/TIME: Friday, December 7, 2018 2:00 p.m.
INCIDENT: Lewd acts w/minor under 10, Sodomy w/minor under 14, Oral copulation w/minor, Exhibiting harmful matter to minor
LOCATION: 1500 block of N Pine Ave., Rialto
SUSPECT: Alfredo Carranco, 45 years old, resident of Rialto
VICTIM: Confidential - 14 year old male
SUMMARY:
On September 20, 2018, the victim and his family went to the Fontana Sheriff's Station to report numerous allegations of child molestation that involved the 14-year-old victim and the suspect was identified as family friend, Alfredo Carranco. The victim reported the crimes had been occurring for several years. Deputy Barberi initiated an extensive investigation to collect the necessary evidence to arrest Carranco. On December 6, 2018, Barberi obtained the necessary evidence needed, which corroborated the victims report.
Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga station personnel assisted Barberi with the service of a search warrant at Carranco's home and placed Carranco under arrest for various sex crimes against the victim. Carranco was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and bail was set at $500,000.
