16 yr. old male arrested for residential burglary in Loma Linda

INCIDENT: PC 459 Residential Burglary
LOCATION: 11000 block of Murphy Street, Loma Linda
SUSPECT: 16-year-old male, resident of Hemet
SUMMARY:
On November 17, 2018, deputies from the Sheriff's Central Station, Loma Linda patrol, responded to a residential burglary that occurred in the 11000 block of Murphy Street. Deputies discovered the home was ransacked and property was taken. The unknown suspect(s) shattered the rear slider door and gained entry. The city of Loma Linda experienced several home burglaries over the previous month that were occurring during the evening hours.
On November 24, 2018, Deputy J. Gonzalez was conducting proactive patrol, in the city of Loma Linda and conducted a traffic stop on a sedan for vehicle code violations. Gonzalez contacted three subjects in the vehicle and located evidence related to the previous home burglaries. Central Station Detectives responded and assisted with the investigation. Through investigation they discovered the juvenile driver was responsible for three burglaries in the Loma Linda area. Investigators recovered stolen property at the juvenile's residence in Hemet. The juvenile was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall for Residential Burglary.
