11/02/2018 * Fraud Investigation
6800 Block of Whitmore Lake Rd – The business reported that they may have been a victim of purchases made with fraudulent credit cards. The case remains under investigation.

11/02/2018 *Larceny (theft) of Personal Property
9400 Block of Main St-Complainant reported that he left some property unattended at a group residential housing and when he returned it was missing. No leads at the time of the report.

11/02/2018 *Home Invasion
4200 Block of E. North Territorial- at approximately 5pm an unknown black male in his 20’s wearing blue jeans and a grey hoodie walked into complainant’s home smoking a cigarette and asking for money. After complainant ordered him from his house, the suspect fled in an older model Mercedes. Complainant believes suspect entered through an open garage door. If anyone has any additional information regarding the suspect or vehicle please contact Northfield Police.

11/02/2018 *Suspicious Situation
3400 Block E. North Territorial –the complainant reported that at approximately 5pm while she was away, an unknown B/M wearing a track suit, parked behind her house, then attempted to persuade her mother to open the door and give him money. The subject drove through complainant’s back yard before driving away from the property.

11/04/2018 *Larceny of Boat & Trailer
200 Block of Diamond Circle-Complainant stated that at approximately 5pm he loaded his boat up with his fishing gear, left for dinner and returned at 8pm to discover trailer & boat missing. The trailer and boat were recovered

11/05/2018 *Larceny from Auto
9100 Walnut Dr- Complainant parked his unlocked vehicle in his driveway on 11/04/2018 at 9pm. On 11/05/2018 at 7am complainant discovered someone had rummaged through his vehicle and taken his wallet. Suspect used or attempted to use complainant’s credit card. Suspect was identified and the case remains under investigation.

11/06/2018 *Arrest – Crash - Operating While Intoxicated
North Territorial Rd & Spencer Rd-Traffic Crash investigation revealed the driver was intoxicated, subject was arrested and transported for medical treatment – case forwarded to prosecutor for review

11/14/2018 *Assault & Battery
300 Block of 6 Mile Rd –An employee of the gas station attempted to calm down a verbal confrontation between customers when one customer became physical with the employee. The subject was given a trespass warning and the case was forwarded to the prosecutors office.

11/15/2018 *Arrest – Fugitive Felony Warrant
7200 Block of Whitmore Lake Rd – Officers located a suspect involved in a possible B & E, during the investigation it was determined that the subject had an outstanding felony warrant –subject was arrested and transported to the county holding the warrant. Officers determined that no break-in attempt had occurred.

11/24/2018 *B & E
8000 Block of Coyle – Victim reported that 3 outbuildings had been broken into some time during the evening hours of 11/23 to 11/24. Suspects damaged the building doors , gained entry and stole chain saws and a snow blower. Evidence was recovered at the scene. And during the investigation a chain saw was recovered. The case remains under investigation

11/26/2018 *Arrest – Fugitive Felony Warrant
Jennings Rd – while investigating an assault incident it was determined that the subject had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The subject was arrested and turned over to the jurisdiction holding the warrant.

11/29/2018 *Arrest – Parole Violation
8000 Block of Main Street- Officers received information of a parole violator – subject was located and arrested – jurisdiction holding the warrant was advised

11/30/2018 *Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card
Amethyst – A report was made regarding fraudulent charges on a credit card – the case remains under investigation.
