Freezing Fog Advisory until 07:00AM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Freezing Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 7 AM EST this morning. HAZARDOUS WEATHER...

* Areas of freezing fog will exist across the region as temperatures remain below 32 degrees.

* The freezing fog may be dense with visibilities of one quarter mile or less. IMPACTS...

* Roadways may become icy, particularly bridges, overpasses, and off-ramps.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WASHTENAW ... WAYNE ... OAKLAND ... LIVINGSTON

Instructions:

A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also...be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.
