Freeze Warning until 08:00AM Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 2 AM to 8 AM EST Wednesday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.

* TEMPERATURES...As low as 29.

* TIMING...For 2 to 6 hours of freezing temperatures between 2 am to 8 am Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WARE ... CLINCH ... ECHOLS ... BRANTLEY ... HAMILTON ... ATKINSON ... PIERCE ... BACON ... BAKER ... COFFEE ... COLUMBIA ... JEFF DAVIS ... GILCHRIST ... UNION ... SUWANNEE ... APPLING ... INLAND GLYNN ... INLAND CAMDEN ... WAYNE ... CHARLTON

Instructions:

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or expected for at least 2 hours. Appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.
