EVENT: Holiday Half-Marathon

On Sunday, December 9th, 2018, the Fairplex will be hosting the annual Holiday Half-Marathon. This event is a run that starts at the Fairplex and winds its way through the cities of Pomona, San Dimas, and La Verne.
There are several road closures that will occur during this event:
Puddingstone Drive, eastbound lanes between Fairplex Drive and Raging Waters Drive - Closed from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM;
White Ave, southbound lanes from McKinley Ave to Preciado St - Closed from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM;
McKinley Ave, all lanes between White Ave and Fairplex Gate 1 - Closed from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM;
and Fairplex Dr, all lanes between Gate 17 and Brackett Airport - Closed from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
The time estimates are approximate, and all efforts will be made to minimally impact local residents.
Residents are encouraged to join in the celebration and ring in the holidays with the Holiday Half Marathon. Sunday, December 9, 2018. Festivities begin on Saturday, December 8 as the Health & Fitness Expo opens at Fairplex, from 7am-12pm, along with the Holiday 5K Run/Walk and Free Kids Penguin Waddle Fun Run! Admission to the Expo is free to the public
