Dense Fog Advisory until 09:00AM Monday

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect from 1 AM to 9 AM PST Monday.

* VISIBILITIES...Less than one quarter of mile, with some areas getting below 500 feet.

* TIMING...Fog is expected to start forming after 1 am PST and becoming more dense and widespread after 3 am PST and continue through 7 am PST before gradually clearing by 9 am PST.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous travel conditions due to reduced visibility are possible. CHP traffic control and pacing is possible where visiblities get below 500 feet. Highways 99, 43, 198, 152, 33, 41, 180, 163, 145 will be impacted in the central San Joaqin Valley.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWESTERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... WEST-CENTRAL SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... SOUTHEASTERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY ... EAST-CENTRAL SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
