The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... South central Jersey County in southwestern Illinois... Northeastern St. Charles County in east central Missouri... Northeastern St. Louis County in east central Missouri...

* Until 515 PM CST.

* At 445 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Maryland Heights, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Overland, St. Ann, St. John, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, Breckenridge Hills, Vinita Park, Charlack and Sycamore Hills around 450 PM CST. Hazelwood, Bridgeton, Berkeley, Woodson Terrace, Bel-Ridge, Kinloch, Lambert Field, Calverton Park and Edmundson around 455 PM CST. Florissant, Ferguson, Dellwood and Orchard Farms around 500 PM CST. Black Jack, Spanish Lake and Portage Des Sioux around 505 PM CST. Elsah and West Alton around 510 PM CST. This also includes Confluence State Park and First Missouri State Capitol Historic Site. This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 225 and 231.
