Dense Fog Advisory until 08:00AM Sunday

Areas of dense fog were developing from coastal Mississippi westward across portions of St. Tammany Parish in southeast Louisiana. Additional patchy dense fog is possible across other portions of southeast Louisiana the remainder of tonight and early Sunday morning. The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CST Sunday.

* VISIBILITY...one quarter mile or less at times.

* DURATION...through 8 am CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...low visibility with sudden changes in visibility on area roadways.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRISON ... HANCOCK ... JACKSON ... PEARL RIVER ... ST. TAMMANY

Instructions:

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
