High Wind Warning until 09:00AM Sunday 
The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a High Wind Warning, which is in effect until 9 AM CST Sunday.
* TIMING...Early evening through late evening, although highest winds at any one location will last for only an hour or two with the first wind event. Second high wind event will be mainly early Sunday morning.
* WINDS...North to northwest 35 to 45 mph with gusts to 60 mph at times.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions, especially across open areas in vicinity of grain elevators. Intermittent power interruptions possible. Outdoor lawn furniture and holiday decorations may become displaced.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EDWARDS ... KIOWA ... PRATT ... BARBER ... COMANCHE ... RUSH ... PAWNEE ... STAFFORD

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
