TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Festival of Lights Parade tonight in Downtown Los Altos

The Annual Los Altos Festival of Lights Parade is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. tonight, Sunday, November 25 in Downtown Los Altos. This fun, family-friendly event draws a large crowd each year, so please walk and drive safely if you plan to attend.

Parade Route
The parade will begin at First and State Street and make its way through downtown via Main Street, First Street, Whitney Street and Third Street. The Parade will end at Plaza South, which runs parallel to San Antonio Road.

Traffic Impacts
- All North Parking Plazas between First and Third Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.  
- Parking will be restricted on First Street from Shasta Street to Main Street beginning at noon.
- Main Street, State Street, First Street, Whitney Street, Plaza Central (from First to Fourth Streets) and Plaza South (between Second and Third Streets) will close at 4 p.m. 
- All streets and parking plazas are expected to re-open by 9 p.m.

Parking
Parking will be very limited downtown, please be mindful of the red and white “No Parking” signs, road closure barricades and warning signs. Any unlawfully parked vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Handicapped Parking will be available behind Wells Fargo Bank located at 100 Main Street.

No Rain Date This Year
There will be no "Rain Date" for the 2018 Parade. To check the status of the parade in the event of poor weather, visit www.losaltosparade.org.
