Be on your guard and vigilant. If you are shopping upon darkness, be aware of your surroundings. Don't be distracted by your cell phone. Keep your purses and bags zipped, snapped and closed. Do not carry your social security card in your wallet or purse and avoid carrying large amounts of credit cards and cash. Lastly, safeguard your property.
