Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 11/20/2018 at approx. 1000 his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Redfield St, near Bachelor Dr., in Milton Township, Cass County Michigan. 51 yr old Niles resident, Jane Mahieu, was westbound on Redfield when she lost control of her vehicle. She went off the roadway and struck a utility pole. She was transported by ambulance to St Joseph Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Ms. Mahieu was wearing her seat belt and alcohol is not a factor. This case remains under investigation.
