Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 11/20/2018 at approx. 1109 his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on Gumwood Rd, near Redfield St., in Milton Township, Cass County Michigan. 18 yr old Bangor resident, Alexis Roseboom , was southbound on Gumwood when she lost control of her vehicle. She went off the roadway and struck several trees going down the embankment. She was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Ms. Roseboom was wearing her seat belt and alcohol is not a factor. This case remains under investigation.
Assisting were Niles Township Fire Department and Southwest Michigan Community Ambulance Service.
