CANCEL OF BOIL WATER NOTICE FOR LA CO WATERWORKS DISTRICT NO. 29, MALIBU, & LAS VIRGENES MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
The Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29, Malibu, and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, along with the State Water Resources Control Board and the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, has determined that, through the reduction of the health hazard and comprehensive testing of the water, the tap water in these water districts is safe to drink. It is no longer necessary to boil tap water for drinking or cooking purposes.
This cancels the boil water notices issued by Los Angeles County Waterworks District No. 29, Malibu, and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, on November 11, 2018, which include customers in the following areas.
- The north Point Dume area between Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and the northern boundary of the City of Malibu including Kanan Dume Road, Ramirez Canyon Road, Zumirez Drive and Cavalleri Road.
- The Encinal Canyon area up to the northern border of the City of Malibu.
- The area north of Malibu High School including Harvester Road, Cuthbert Road, Philip Avenue, Seaview Drive, and Horizon Drive.
- The area south of Westlake Village, east of the Ventura County line, north of the City of Malibu and west of Corral Canyon.
