Woolsey Fire - new information update for Friday, November 16

The following is an update of new information from Friday, November 16:
  • Evacuation order lifted for all areas east of Corral Canyon except canyon roads and Pepperdine University
  • Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) opens Saturday, November 17, in former Malibu Courthouse (23525 Civic Center Way). Hours: Saturday, 1-8PM; Monday-Wednesday and Friday-Saturday, 10AM-6PM. Closed Sunday and Thursday (Thanksgiving Day)

  • LA County Trash and Debris Removal Guidelines
  • Mail - While mail service is suspended in Malibu, customers may pick up their mail at the USPS Facility in Downtown Los Angeles (7101 S. Central Ave, Los Angeles CA 90001). Facility hours are: Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Customers are reminded to bring proper photo ID in order to obtain their mail. The City is working with USPS officials to resume mail service in Malibu as soon as possible.
  • The County of Los Angeles set up an e-mail account for residents to send any questions regarding the Woolsey Fire incident, the status of evacuations, or the status of their property. Send messages to: [email protected]
  • Answers for the first group of questions submitted at the Woolsey Fire Evacuee Update Meeting held on Tuesday, November 13, have been posted. Further questions and answers will be posted regularly. Q&A #1
