Roads Slushy, Schools Open, Buses Running Late, Trains 30min Delay, No power outages. Officers & DPW Out Clearing

Thank you for your patience yesterday. All roads are open and Slushy. Snow clearing equipment out and working.
All local salt trucks were out early along with officers but most were stuck in certain areas due to the grid lock traffic. Our officers actually worked with several trucks to get them to the worst areas and through the traffic. Officers spent most of the shift pushing vehicles that were stuck and manually clearing storm drains. These efforts allowed traffic to move while other areas in PA had people trapped overnight and kids in school overnight. (not kidding)

Thank you to the Mayor and Business Administrator for being in constant communication with me and staying involved.

Expect better conditions today, trains are delayed 30 min, no reported power outages. Windy day today so isolated power outages may occur. Also, look for some local freezing conditions overnight so please be careful if you are traveling late tonight. Weather should not cause any issues with the evening commute. Let me know if anyone took advantage of the restaurant game!

Only slush left for now so all snow ball fights have been postponed.
Stay Safe!
