The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Southeastern Henderson County in western North Carolina... Polk County in western North Carolina... Northeastern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina... Northwestern Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina...
* Until 1130 AM EST.
* At 533 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain was continuing to develop across the warned area which includes, but is not limited to, the headwaters of the Tyger, Pacolet and Green Rivers. Smaller streams in these drainages are expected to rise above bankfull this morning and areas of high water conditions and flooding of low spots will become more numerous.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbus, Travelers Rest, Landrum, Tryon, Campobello, Saluda, Tigerville, Lake Robinson, Mill Spring and North Saluda Reservoir.
* AFFECTED AREAS: GREENVILLE, SC ... HENDERSON, NC ... SPARTANBURG, SC ... POLK, NC
